How to use

  1. Patch test any new active on the inner forearm or behind the ear for 24-48 hours first. AM: vitamin C serum on clean dry skin, then moisturizer and SPF 30+. PM: a few drops of alpha arbutin, then moisturizer. Once both are tolerated, arbutin can also go on in the morning over the vitamin C.
  2. Add Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% Face Serum: Alpha arbutin 2% with ferulic acid, butylresorcinol and a little lactic acid in a glycol solvent base. It covers the arbutin half and adds extra brighteners, but no vitamin C.
